I have been using the zyb sync service for sometime now with no problems at all, it’s quick easy and painless to sync your contacts and calendar with it, it’s childs play. Got back from a weekend away yesterday and noticed that OVI are now offering the same service.
“The simple way to stay up to date and connected – on the go from your mobile device, PC, or online.
Share your favourite moments with your favourite people. It’s simple with Share on Ovi.
Access documents, photos and other files on your remote PC using any internet-connected mobile device, PC or Mac.
Keep your contacts and calendar up to date and backed up online.”
I have only so far managed to use the sync service which went smoothly, Ovi will send a config text to your mobile setting up the sync service and you just select Ovi from the sync menu and it does it all for you over 3G/GPRS. Contacts safely stored online which is especially handy in the event of your phones loss or theft. I haven’t managed to utilise the share online facility yet because it keeps telling me that there is no user with my mobile number!!
The files aspect of it is a subscription service at a low monthly cost, nokia claim. They wil give you a 60 day trial if you are a new user but this still requires your credit card information.
